Scanivo ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Scanivo POS desktop client and website. We are committed to protecting the private inventory and financial transaction data of the retail establishments using our systems.

1. Offline Database Autonomy

Unlike standard cloud-based POS platforms, Scanivo POS is built offline-first. Your transaction logs, product catalogues, margins, supplier ledgers, and cash balances remain written to local SQLite caches on your computer storage drive. This data is not uploaded to our corporate web servers.

2. Web Portal Account Details

We collect your business email, name, company name, address, phone number, and tax registration (GSTIN) during the SaaS checkout process to manage licensing terms, activation logs, and handle support queries.

3. Hardware Binding Identifiers

To prevent license key sharing and enforce user limits, our software collects a hashed device fingerprint (composed of motherboard/CPU UUID codes) during online license key activations. This hardware signature is used only to authenticate your terminal.
